Lago Maggiore Bike Tours…

A name that clearly defines its original “mission”: creating amazing bike tours around Lake Maggiore. No doubt about that.

However, the desire to ride and use the bike not only as a sporting or tourist tool but as a means of travel led me to discover this wonderful way of exploring the world about five years ago. Crossings and loops through Italy, Iceland, Morocco, the Canary Islands, Scotland, and who knows how many more destinations will come next.

The next step was simple: combining my expertise as a guide and (former) sports event coordinator with my long-standing passion for organizing group trips (once by motorbike) to share these emotions with all of you and create a new series of EPIC experiences! That’s how the idea of creating these guided travel experiences was born.

The mission? To create journeys that leave a mark.

Let me tell you right away — there’s not much that’s purely touristy about this. While they aren’t races or extreme adventures, the trips we’ve created are certainly not casual rides. They are real itinerant journeys with their own challenges. Some trips require a solid level of fitness. Or, more simply, knowing how to handle certain weather conditions. On a trip, you face whatever comes your way, and you need to be prepared. At the same time, each of these experiences has an educational element. Never packed a bike for a flight? Don’t know what gear to bring? That’s what we’re here for.

Those who have been following us know that we started this new chapter exactly a year ago. We’ve already guided several people in Lanzarote — a trip designed as a helping hand for those new to international bike travel.

But now things have evolved. After great effort, we’ve finally achieved the goal of offering five guided trips. Lanzarote Bikepacking Experience

At the beginning of the year, when winter is still making our teeth chatter between the lake and the mountains, we head off on a bikepacking adventure to the Isla De Fuego. Here it is, as present as ever — our beloved lake. This trip isn’t for everyone, as some stages can be quite tough. However, it’s designed to be the most accessible journey in terms of cost and versatility — ideal for those who want to try this type of travel without going to the other side of the world.
